Introduction

The Mol Premier Series furnaces are resistance-heated high-temperature furnaces designed for operating temperatures of up to 1,550 °C.

All furnaces are available in three different versions, each optimized for specific applications:

Mol Premier1350 Combustion Furnace – For the complete oxidation of samples in an oxygen stream at high temperatures.
Mol Premier1000 Combustion Furnace – Designed for the complete oxidation of particularly large samples in an oxygen stream.
Mol Premier1350 Pre-Heating Furnace – Effectively reduces blank values of sample carriers in accordance with ASTM E1019, ISO 9556, and ISO 4935.

With their user-friendly operation and robust construction, these laboratory furnaces offer maximum efficiency, minimal energy consumption, and exceptional durability.

Mol Premier1000 Combustion Furnace

The Mol Premier1000 Combustion Furnace is a powerful and compact benchtop unit designed for the complete oxidation of particularly large samples in solid at temperatures of up to 1,050 °C.

Operation

Samples are introduced into the hot zone of the furnace using a sample insertion rod in extra-large quartz boats. The combustion tube has a diameter of 50 mm, ensuring optimal conditions for the complete oxidation of the sample in an oxygen stream.

The resulting sample gas can then be precisely analyzed using a connected system, such as the Mol CS1000 elemental analyzer.

Due to its large tube diameter, the Mol Premier1000 Combustion Furnace is particularly suitable for the non-destructive determination of surface carbon in especially large samples.

With its robust design, user-friendly operation, and high temperature range of up to 1,050 °C, the Mol Premier1000 Combustion Furnace is an extremely versatile instrument.
